Boone County Public Library: Where Imagination Takes Flight
The Glore family was a large family of German immigrants, originally named Clore. Part of the Germanna Colony, Adam Clore came to Boone County from Madison County, Virginia. At some point during the migration from Virginia, Adam's name was changed in the existing records to Glore.
