Mobility Equipment

The Main Library has a wheelchair and a walker available for those in need.

Books in Other Languages

Main Library, Scheben, and Florence branches carry some books and audiobooks for children and adults in Spanish. The library also has a few in Japanese.

Magazines and Newspapers

The library carries a wide variety of magazines and newspapers and also provides access to some full-text newspapers, magazines, and journals.

Donations

Please bring any donation of books, videos, magazines, etc. to your nearest library branch.

Fax Machine

The Library does not provide a public fax machine. Check our list of locations that offer this service.

Color Copier

The Library does not have a color copier. However, other businesses offer this service.

Volunteering at the Library

Complete a volunteer or, if you're a teen, a volunteen application form, and we will notify you if we have any volunteer opportunities.

Services for People with Disabilities

All of our buildings are wheelchair accessible. One computer in each library has ZoomText -- a program that makes a computer screen easier to view. We also offer a homebound delivery program.

Books in Braille

The Library does not have books in braille, but we do have a wide selection of books on cassette or CD. Talking Books of Northern Kentucky has a lending library for books and magazines on specially recorded cassettes for people with visual impairments. You may contact them online or by calling (859)962-4095 locally. In Kentucky, you may also call toll-free at (866)491-7610. If you live outside Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen and Pendleton counties, call 1-800-372-2968 for the Talking Book Library nearest you.

Notary Public

A staff member at Main Library can provide this service. However, the staff member may refuse this service at her discretion. Please call 859-342-BOOK(2665) for availability.
