Is the Thirteenth Child really unlucky? Eff is such a child, while her brother is the seventh son of a seventh son, therefore signaling that he is destined to greatness. But Eff wonders if she can really escape the stigma that her birth order gave her. Is she really as unlucky as everyone says? Patricia C. Wrede is the author of many teen fantasy books, and Thirteenth Child promises not to disappoint her fans.

But what turns out to be a mission to save Zara’s well being turns into a mysterious mix of pixies, werewolfs, and half species, OH MY! Now Zara must forget about the past and save the few friends that have kept her from going insane. This book wil grab your attention from the very begining, and you might even learn a little something about your own fears along the way.
