The Curt Bessette Art Gallery is located on the 1st floor of Main Library at 1786 Burlington Pike. It features work by regional and national artists as well as special, themed exhibits. The Community Art Wall inside the gallery gives local artists a chance to display their work for sale. Exhibits, and the work on the Community Art Wall, rotate every two months. To have your work considered for display, complete the Art Gallery Display Request Form.

Curt Bessette was a quiet child who spent many hours drawing and creating art of the people and scenes around him. As time passed his interest in art and talent for various artistic styles only grew until he became known by his peers as the Artist.

April 1-30. Discovering Taiwan and Beyond through Water Color

Local artist Yin-Shen Chang shares some of her favorite images of this spectacular part of the world and a few images from a little closer to home.

May 1 - June 14. Boone County Visual Arts Association

Join the Boone County Visual Arts Association for an exhibit that features several local artists who use a variety of mediums, including watercolors, oils, mixed media, and more.

June 19 - August 9. Through Darkness to Light: Photographs Along the Underground Railroad
