We deliver books, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, and music CDs to homes, apartments, retirement homes, and other residential care facilities to people unable to visit us in person.
All Boone County residents - regardless of age - are eligible for outreach services if they are unable to visit the Library due to a temporary or permanent physical limitation and to those who lack transportation.
Complete the registration form and return it to any Library location, or call 342-2665 x8108.
Our Outreach Services staff will contact you to discuss the types of materials you like and to make arrangements for delivery. Materials will be delivered and picked-up every four to six weeks until you no longer need this service.
Staff of adult centers may complete the Adult Outreach Collection Request Form to have librarians gather up to 10 items for pick-up at one of our locations. See form for more detail.

We use the Library Bus to bring storytimes, enrichment activities, teacher resources, and library materials to over 40 facilities and 1,300 people per month. We visit early care and education centers, after-school programs, summer camps, and neighborhoods.
However, hundreds more are served when the bus participates in special events throughout the community.
Due to Covid-19, all regularly scheduled visits are suspended.
But check with us often. When service begins again you can schedule a Library Bus visit to your event, center, or school by calling 859-342-2665 x8127 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
