Built in 1885 and carefully preserved, the Noble or Hitchfield-Hensley House is one of Petersburg’s finest Folk Victorian dwellings. Of L-plan form, it stands two stories high under an intersecting-gable tin roof with corner returns. In the reentrant angle is an intricate Eastlake spindlework porch. A wrought-iron fence encircles the yard.
