About the Gallery
The Curt Bessette Art Gallery is located on the 1st floor of Main Library at 1786 Burlington Pike. It primarily features work from regional and local artists, with some national exhibits.
Display Your Work
To have your work considered for display, complete the Art Gallery Display Request Form. All artwork must be ready to hang with wire or another appropriate method. Please read the Art Gallery Guidelines for full details of displaying work.
In May 2019, the Curt Bessette Art Gallery opened at the Main library. In this video we sat down with Curt's family to talk about it and remember Curt.
Curt Bessette was a quiet child who spent many hours drawing and creating art of the people and scenes around him. As time passed his interest in art and talent for various artistic styles only grew until he became known by his peers as the Artist.
