Under the general direction of Youth Service/Outreach Director, the Outreach Manager leads library services delivered outside the library, including programs for children, caregivers, educators, and adults in community settings. This role oversees the mobile BIL (Boone Innovative Lab), coordinates outreach staff, and develops partnerships that strengthen the library’s presence in Boone County. The Outreach Manager interacts extensively with the public and other staff members.

The Teen Librarian develops and delivers innovative library services and programs for teens (ages 12–17) at the Main Library and in the community. This role builds connections with young people, parents, educators, and local organizations to foster literacy, creativity, and lifelong learning.

The Boone County Public Library is seeking a motivated individual with a positive attitude for the position of Outreach Youth Services Librarian to be a part of a creative and collaborative team. Under the general direction of the Outreach Manager, the Outreach Youth Services Librarian is responsible for organizing and overseeing library service to children ranging in age from infants to 17 years and to their caregivers and teachers. The Outreach Youth Services Librarian interacts extensively with the public and other staff members.
